Q-SPD 3 Surface Drive – High-Performance Integrated Marine Propulsion
The QSD3 Series is a fully integrated marine propulsion system engineered to deliver exceptional performance across all speeds while requiring minimal maintenance. Designed to outperform conventional propulsion solutions, it offers greater reliability, extended service intervals, and outstanding efficiency for both recreational and commercial vessels. Manufactured from lightweight, marine-grade, corrosion-resistant materials, the QSD3 combines durability with reduced overall system weight, making it ideal for high-performance craft, patrol boats, and demanding workboat applications. All vital mechanical components are strategically positioned inboard to protect them from harsh marine environments, improving longevity and reducing wear.
The system features an oil-lubricated, water-cooled thrust bearing, integrated exhaust provisions with optional flange fittings, and is supplied with intermediate drive shafts and custom-designed propellers specified by Q-SPD to ensure optimal performance. Standard or bespoke power steering and exhaust system configurations are available to meet specific vessel requirements. The QSD3 Series is offered in three base ratings, typically accommodating engine power from 800hp to 2200hp depending on vessel type, providing a versatile and high-performance propulsion solution for a wide range of marine applications.
