Q-SPD 2 Surface Drive – High-Performance Integrated Marine Propulsion
The Q-SPD 2 Surface Drive is a comprehensive, fully integrated marine propulsion system designed to deliver exceptional performance across all speeds while requiring minimal maintenance compared to conventional drives. Engineered from high-quality marine-grade materials, the QSD2 series is both lightweight and robust, making it suitable for a wide range of recreational and commercial vessels.
All critical mechanics and components are positioned inboard, protecting them from environmental elements and ensuring long-term reliability. The oil-lubricated thrust bearing is water-cooled for efficient, smooth operation, and the system includes provisions for exhaust, including optional flange fittings for simplified installation. Each QSD2 drive comes complete with an intermediate shaft and a custom-designed propeller specified by Q-SPD, as well as manual or power steering tailored to the vessel, providing a fully integrated propulsion solution.
The QSD2 series is available in three power ratings, supporting engines from 450 HP up to over 1500 HP, depending on vessel requirements. This versatility makes it ideal for high-performance recreational boats, workboats, and commercial applications where maximum speed, handling, and efficiency are critical.
