Description
SeaStar Steering hoses are a custom multi-layered composite design, engineered specifically for SeaStar systems. They are designed to exceed SAE and ABYC specifications and provide precise steering control not achievable with hydraulic industry standard hoses. SeaStar hoses are engineered to provide the system with very low thermal expansion properties and are kink and abrasion resistant. SeaStar hoses also feature a swaged end solid fitting connection with an O-ring seal and metal to metal backup to the primary seal. Due to performance and safety concerns, SeaStar Solutions recommends that ONLY SeaStar or SeaStar PRO steering hoses be used in SeaStar steering systems.
