The RIB03 Suspension Pilot Seat is a premium shock mitigation seating system designed to deliver exceptional comfort, safety and performance for both commercial and leisure boats. Engineered for high-speed marine environments, this advanced suspension seat significantly reduces the impact of wave shock, helping to minimise fatigue and protect occupants from injury during extended time on the water.
Featuring a robust powder-coated marine-grade aluminium suspension unit, the RIB03 is built to withstand demanding offshore conditions while providing a smooth, controlled ride. The suspension system incorporates infinitely adjustable spring rates from 60kg to over 130kg, allowing users to tailor the seat to individual weight and operating conditions. A progressive suspension design prevents bottoming out, even in rough seas.
Developed in collaboration with Kayaba and Öhlins, two of the world’s leading suspension specialists, the shock absorber system has undergone rigorous endurance testing. It is engineered to withstand the equivalent of 500 hours of high-impact boating (+6G) per year for more than 30 years, ensuring outstanding long-term reliability.
The suspension pedestal is paired with a comfortable jockey-style pilot seat, upholstered in premium black marine-grade vinyl for durability, comfort and easy maintenance. The seat complies with ABYC H-31 Type AO standards, providing confidence in both recreational and professional marine applications.
With an installation height of 650mm, the RIB03 is ideal for RIBs, patrol boats, rescue boats, workboats, military craft and high-performance leisure vessels operating at speeds of up to 50 knots.
