The ergonomic pommel design positions the rider to move naturally with the motion of the boat rather than against it, reducing fatigue and improving stability during high-impact operations. Tough, easy-clean rubber seat foams and integrated side grab handles ensure long-lasting durability and secure support in all weather conditions.

When paired with the FLEX suspension system, the ULTRA becomes Shark’s flagship shock mitigation seating solution. Built for low maintenance and high performance, the system delivers an industry-leading 225 mm (9 in) of suspension travel, dramatically reducing the impact loads transferred to the body. Capable of mitigating up to 10G vertical impacts, the FLEX system helps protect the spine and lower body from repeated shock exposure during high-speed offshore operation.
For applications where weight savings are critical, the ULTRA can be configured with the FLEXpod suspension system to create the ULTRAlite — the lightest shock mitigation seat on the market. With 150 mm (6 in) of suspension travel and protection against up to 6G vertical impacts, the ULTRAlite effectively absorbs both vertical and lateral forces while maintaining exceptional vessel performance. At only 7.1 kg (15.7 lbs), it allows operators to increase crew protection without adding unnecessary weight to the craft.
