Designed exclusively for use with Dometic Optimus Joystick Control and Optimus Electronic Power Steering (EPS) systems, this actuator replaces traditional hydraulic steering components with a compact, high-torque electric unit for enhanced performance, efficiency, and reliability.
Direct Replacement for Hydraulic Steering Cylinders
The Optimus Electric Steering Actuator mounts directly to the outboard in place of the existing hydraulic cylinder. All major components, including the high-torque brushless DC motor, precision drive train, electronic brake, position sensor, and control electronics, are fully integrated within the actuator housing.
