Dometic DG3 Training, Genoa 2026 | Hypro Marine
Two members of our Hypro Marine Technical Team recently travelled to Genoa, Italy, to take part in specialist training on the Dometic DG3 Gyro-Stabiliser, gaining valuable insight into the technology, design and performance of this innovative marine stabilisation system.
The training provided an excellent opportunity to develop our team’s technical knowledge and learn more about the engineering behind the DG3 directly from the experts at Dometic.
Inside the Dometic DG3 Training Course
The course covered the technical workings and detailed design of the DG3 Stabiliser, with presentations delivered by members of Dometic’s product design team.
Alongside the technical presentations, the programme included practical workshop training and an interactive question-and-answer session, allowing our team to explore the unit in greater depth and gain a better understanding of its installation and operation.
Experiencing the DG3 Stabiliser at Sea
Day two took the training out onto the water, giving our team the opportunity to experience the Dometic DG3 Stabiliser in action.
This hands-on sea trial demonstrated the unit’s impressive performance, including its rapid spool-up time and instantaneous stability when engaged.
Seeing the technology working first-hand was a fantastic opportunity to appreciate the benefits the DG3 can bring to onboard comfort and vessel stability.
