Hypro Marine have recently developed a new Twin Motor ECS Power Unit for applications up to 10 L/min and 100 bar.
This power unit is designed to operate hydraulic steering systems requiring two 60 mm bore, 12” stroke cylinders (HM4470/60/12). These cylinders are used for high-torque steering applications where traditionally a large servo cylinder would be combined with an auxiliary cylinder, PTO-driven hydraulic pumps, a pressurised reservoir, and a manual steering helm.
The introduction of this new ECS Twin Motor Power Unit enables us to offer a fully ECS electro-hydraulic steering solution for larger steering applications, providing our customers with an additional, modern option to meet demanding steering requirements.
