Wetwheels is a well-renowned provider of accessible powerboating that aims to build the confidence of its disabled participants by providing the opportunity to access the sea in a fun, safe, stimulating and rewarding way using specially modified, fully accessible powerboats.
It was great to see Wetwheels Edinburgh arrive at Avon Marina (sister company to Hypro Marine) from Cheetah Marine Catamarans – Ventnor, skilfully guided in by Matt and Jason of the Avon Marina team.
This incredible vessel is ready to be fitted out by Avon Marina’s experienced team of engineers before it begins its voyage to its final destination of Port Edgar Watersports CIC – Southferry.
The fit out includes a full Optimus Electric steering systems supplied by Hypro Marine. The installation also includes an inverted Tilt Helm which enables easier access at the console for all users.
